Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

The Cyberia Tech (“Cyberia Tech,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and sensitive information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, access, use, store, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our websites, mobile applications, desktop applications, and other services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to Cyberia Tech Services, including the CIBO application, unless a specific Service provides a separate privacy notice that expressly replaces or supplements this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the Service you use and the features you enable, we may collect or receive the following categories of information.

1.1 Information You Provide

You may provide information directly to us when you:

  • Create or manage a profile.
  • Sign in to our Services.
  • Contact customer support.
  • Submit forms or otherwise communicate with us.

For the CIBO application specifically, profile creation is designed to minimize data collection. CIBO collects only basic profile information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, date of birth, height, weight, and daily activity level.

CIBO does not require an email address, phone number, or password to create a profile.

1.2 Health and Fitness Data

Certain Cyberia Tech applications provide health, fitness, wellness, tracking, or related functionality and may request access to health and fitness information.

Where supported, an application may request access to data available through Google Health Connect or other health and fitness platforms. Health Connect data is considered personal and sensitive user data.

Depending on the specific application and the features you use, the requested data may include:

  • Physical activity and exercise information.
  • Step or activity information.
  • Sleep information.
  • Heart rate or other health measurements.
  • Body measurements such as height or weight.
  • Nutrition or hydration information.
  • Other health or fitness information specifically required by a feature of the application.

We do not request or access every category of Health Connect data. Each application requests only the specific data types necessary for its available features.

If an application does not require a particular health or fitness data type, that application will not request access to that data type.

1.3 How Health Connect Data Is Accessed

When you grant permission, the applicable application may access only the specific Health Connect data types that you have authorized.

Health Connect permissions are controlled by you through Android and Health Connect. You may grant, deny, modify, or revoke access at any time through your device or Health Connect settings.

If you deny or revoke a permission, features that depend on that data may no longer function.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you use our Services, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address.
  • Device type and model.
  • Operating system and version.
  • Application version.
  • Language and general settings.
  • Diagnostic, crash, and performance information.

1.5 Device Permissions

Depending on the specific Service and its functionality, we may request permissions to access certain device features, including:

  • Physical activity information.
  • Health and fitness information, including information available through Google Health Connect.

We request permissions only when they are necessary for a feature provided by the applicable Service.

For CIBO, we do not request access to your camera, microphone, precise location, or personal files.

You can manage or revoke applicable permissions at any time through your device settings.

1.6 Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our websites and certain Services may use cookies, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain functionality, remember preferences, analyze usage, improve performance, and understand how users interact with our Services.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for legitimate and disclosed purposes, including:

  • Providing and operating our Services.
  • Providing health, fitness, wellness, tracking, and other requested features.
  • Displaying health or fitness information and insights requested by the user.
  • Synchronizing information with supported services or devices when authorized by the user.
  • Creating and managing user profiles.
  • Providing customer support.
  • Maintaining, securing, and improving our Services.
  • Detecting, preventing, and investigating fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems.
  • Understanding usage and improving product performance.

Health and Fitness Data

Health and fitness information, including information obtained through Google Health Connect, is used only to provide the health, fitness, wellness, tracking, or other user-facing functionality for which the relevant permission was requested.

We do not use Health Connect data for advertising, behavioral advertising, creditworthiness, insurance eligibility, employment eligibility, or data-broker activities.

We do not use Health Connect data for purposes unrelated to the feature for which the user granted permission.

3. Health Connect Data Sharing

We treat Health Connect data as personal and sensitive user data.

  • We do not sell Health Connect data.
  • We do not transfer Health Connect data to third parties for advertising or behavioral advertising.
  • We do not use Health Connect data to determine a user’s creditworthiness, employment eligibility, insurance eligibility, or similar eligibility decisions.

Where a Cyberia Tech Service requires a third-party service provider to process information on our behalf, processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate the applicable feature or Service and is subject to appropriate contractual, security, and confidentiality requirements.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or valid governmental request, or when necessary to protect the security, rights, or safety of our users, our Services, or others.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We may use trusted third-party providers to help operate our Services, including providers for:

  • Analytics and diagnostics.
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure.
  • Application infrastructure and delivery.
  • Authentication and account services, where applicable.
  • Security and fraud prevention, where applicable.

Examples may include Firebase, Google services, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure providers, and other service providers, depending on the specific Service.

Third-party providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform the services they provide to us and are expected to protect information in accordance with applicable requirements.

Health Connect data is not shared with third-party providers for advertising, behavioral advertising, or data-broker purposes.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and sensitive information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

Where sensitive information is transmitted over networks, we use appropriate security measures, including HTTPS/TLS encryption where applicable.

Access to sensitive information is limited to authorized systems, personnel, and service providers that require access for legitimate business or service purposes.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate interests.

The specific retention period may vary depending on the type of information and the Service involved.

Where applicable, information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected.

Health Connect Data Retention

Health Connect data may remain under the user’s control within Google Health Connect on the user’s Android device.

If a Cyberia Tech application accesses or stores Health Connect data outside Health Connect, that information will be handled according to the applicable application’s functionality and this Privacy Policy.

Deleting data from Health Connect does not necessarily delete information that an application has already independently stored.

7. Your Choices and Data Controls

Depending on the Service, you may have the ability to:

  • Access or update certain profile information.
  • Request deletion of your account or profile and associated information.
  • Withdraw or modify device permissions.
  • Grant or revoke Health Connect permissions.
  • Stop using a Service.

Managing Health Connect Permissions

You can manage the permissions granted to an application through Android Health Connect settings.

You may revoke individual Health Connect permissions without deleting your entire Health Connect account or other Health Connect data.

Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature in our application from functioning.

8. Account and Data Deletion

For Services that provide user accounts or profiles, including the CIBO application, users can delete their account or profile directly from within the application.

In CIBO, users can access the account deletion option by going to:

Settings → Profile → Delete Account

When a user confirms account deletion, we will delete or anonymize the personal information associated with the account or profile, subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, and other legitimate retention requirements.

Deleting a CIBO account or profile does not necessarily delete information that is stored independently by third-party services or platforms, including data maintained in Google Health Connect. Users can manage or delete such information through the applicable third-party service.

If you are unable to access the account deletion feature or require assistance with a deletion request, you may contact us at:

info@thecyberiatech.com

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age, and where applicable law establishes a higher minimum age, we follow the applicable requirement.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us at info@thecyberiatech.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. International Data Transfers

Cyberia Tech and our service providers may process or store information in countries other than the country in which you reside.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable measures intended to protect that information and comply with applicable data protection requirements.

11. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we may rely on one or more of the following:

  • Your consent.
  • Performance of a contract or provision of requested services.
  • Compliance with legal obligations.
  • Legitimate interests, where permitted by law.
  • Protection of vital interests, where applicable.

For Health Connect data, access is based on the permissions and authorization you provide through the applicable platform and application.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to your personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Request portability of certain information.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with an applicable data protection authority.

To exercise applicable rights, contact us at:

info@thecyberiatech.com

We may need to verify your request before completing it.

13. California, EEA, and UK Privacy Rights

If applicable to you under California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or UK data protection law, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object to processing, request portability, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures.
